Back in 2004 we decided that the new technologies avaliable and an enhanced communication channels had to help us florists to improve all the different steps that our daily flower orders take. By that time, fax machines were still very important in order to wire orders through all of our partners, but the Internet was gaining a higher level of importance.

Eight years later, fax machines are almost gone. Must of our florists now use e-mail to communicate to send and receive orders. And time reponse has also gone down. Web pages now make even easier to order from one to another, and ordering systems allow us to manage all our orders and sales very efficiently.

This is not the US, where the use of the Internet is many times higher than in Mexico. Nevertheless, one day technology reaches all of us. The good news is that for us in the flower services business, the wise use of the technology around us makes our day to day activities even richer.
